Daily Light on the Daily Path
Morning July 19
“He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name.” “Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?”—There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours.—“Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy.”—“Hallowed be your name.” “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people.”Who is this who comes from Edom, in crimsoned garments from Bozrah, he who is splendid in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? “It is I, speaking in righteousness, mighty to save.”—“I have granted help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.”
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory.
