1 ! Jehoiakim made subject to Nebuchad-nezzar rebelleth.

1 a In the end of the third yere of his reigne, and in the beginning of the fourte, {Dan. 1, 1}

3 ! The cause of his ruine and all Judahs

3 b Thogh God vsed these wicked tyrants to execute his juste judgements, yet they are not to be excused, because thei proceded of ambicion & malice.

6 c Not that he was buryed with his father, but he dyed in the way, as they led him prisoner towarde Babylon: read {Jere. 22,19}

12 e In the reigne of the King of Babylon.

12 d That is, yelded him selfe vnto him by the counsel of Jeremie.
