1 a It semeth that the tribes contended who might mary these daughters to haue their inheritance: and therefore the sonnes of Joseph proposed the matter to Moses.

4 c Signifyng that at no time it colde returne for in the Jubile all things returned to their owne tribes.

5 d For the tribe colde not haue continued if the inheritance which was the maintenance thereof shulde haue bene abalienated to others.
