^{1 !} Dauid fleeth to Achish King of Gath, who giueth him Ziklag.

^{1 a} Dauid distrusteth Gods protection, and therfore fleeth vnto the idolaters, who were enemies to Gods people.

^{3 b} Thus God by his prouidence changeth the enemies hearts & maketh them to fauour him, in their necessitie.

^{5 c} Let thine officers appoint one a place.

^{7 /} Ebr the noumber of the dayes.

^{8 !} Dauid destroyeth certeine of the Philistems.

^{8 d} These were the wicked Canaanites, whome God had appointed to be destroyed.

^{10 /} Or, against whome.

^{10 !} Achish deceyued by Dauid.

^{10 e} Which were a familie of the tribe of Judah, {1 Chro. 2,9}.

^{12 /} Or, he doeth surely abhorre his people.
