Chapter 126

When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

&) A Song of degrees. This Psalm evidently appears to have been composed in consequence of the proclamation of Cyrus in favour of the Jews, giving them leave to return to their own land, and rebuild their city and temple.
