1 a Which was Jeremiahs disciple, & wrote his prophecies vnder him.

1 b Whereof read {Chap. 36,9}.

3 ! Jermiah comforteth Baruch, assuring him that he shulde not perish in the destruction of Jerusalem.

3 c Baruck moued with an inconsiderat zeale of Jeremiahs imprisonment, but chiefly for the destruction of the people, and the Temple, maketh this lamentation, as {Psal. 6,6}

4 d Meaning, that God might destroye this people because he had planted them.

5 e Thinkest you to haue honour and credit? wherein he sheweth his infirmitie.
