1 ! Dauid fleeth to Nob to Ahimelech the Priest.

1 a Where the Arke then was, to aske the counsel of the Lord.

2 b These infirmities that we se in the saints of God, teache vs that none hathe his justice in him selfe, but receiueth it of Gods mercie.

4 c If they haue not companied with their wiues.

5 e Shal be more careful to kepe his vessel holy, when he shal haue eaten of this holy foode.

6 ! He getteth of him the shewbread to satisfie his hungre.

7 ! Doeg Sauls seruant was present.

7 f Tarying to worship before the Arke.

10 h That is, out of Sauls dominion.
