Geneva Bible Notes (1560): Psalm 133

^{1 !} This psalme conteineth the commendacion of brotherlie amitie among the seruants of God.

^{1 a} Because the greatest parte were against Dauid, thogh some fauoured him, yet when he was established Kingd, at length thei joyned all together like brethren: & therefore he sheweth by these similitudes the commoditie of brotherlie loue.

^{2 b} The ointment was a figure of the graces, which come from Christ the head vnto his Church.

^{3 c} By Hermon & Zion he meaneth the plentiful countrei about Jerusalem.

^{3 d} Where there is suche concorde.
