^{1 a} Thogh this worlde be subject to mutacions, yet the people of God shal stand sure & be defended by gods prouidence.

^{1 !} He describeth the assurance of the faithful in their afflictions.

^{3 b} Thogh God suffer his to be vnder the crosse, lest thei shulde inbrace wickednes, yet this crosse shal not so rest vpon them that it shulde driue them from hope.

^{4 !} And desireth their welth.

^{5 c} He desireth God to purge his Church from hypocrites & suche as haue no zeale of the trueth.

^{5 !} And the destruction of the wicked.
