Maybe “author” is the wrong word for this, but this page is about the developer-designer-admin-web guy that keeps this site up.

I am David Eldridge. I am a member of the Reformed Baptist Church of Topeka. I am the web developer for my county (Shawnee County, Kansas). I really enjoy my work, and have long looked to bring my skills to use for something that is a help to others in the body of Christ. There are other more common and excellent ways to do that, like mowing a friend’s yard, or making dinner, or encouraging others. I don’t mean to say this is better. I think it is more humble in its value to saints (except insofar as it broadcasts God’s Word). I only hope to use it well, and to the edification of my dear friends, and for the glorification of Christ by His word.

I like this site, because it has features that a layman like me can use: Bibles, Psalters, References, Utilities, and more. I am not an exegete. This is not that tool. If you want that, you probably need BibleWorks. This work is not entirely altruistic in that way. It is quite a selfish work. I like it a lot, from the top down: content, style and functionality. It was built first with me in mind. But I hope my wife likes it, and lots of other folks close to me, like Mark and Art and Tommy and Joe and … well you get the idea.
